Nkuringo lodge Bwindi

Location: Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge is located on the southern edge of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in southwestern Uganda (East Africa). Quietly nestled on a ridge overlooking the forest monster of Bwindi, within walking distance of the Nkuringo Sector briefing point, the lodge offers trekkers excellent access to the gorillas of the southern region of Bwindi.

Located at an altitude of 2,161 meters (7,090 ft) above sea level, this area is completely free of mosquitoes and enjoys stunning views of the forested hillside known locally as “Nkuringo”, the Kashasha River Valley, the beautiful Virunga Volcanoes, the world famous Bwindi Forest and on a clear day beyond the Great Albertine Rift Valley to the Rwenzori Mountains.

Accommodation: The lodge offers 12 rooms in 9 fully-equipped residences, divided into three two-bedroom family villas and six gazebos.

Room Facilities: Each cottage features a bedroom, a private en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, hairdryer, hot and cold water, a living room with a fireplace and comfortable chairs to enjoy the golden glow of the fire. Lounge chairs on the outdoor verandas provide the perfect vantage point to celebrate the ever-changing Bwindi views.
