Lions Bluff lodge

Location: Lions Bluff Lodge **** * is a very special eco lodge, secluded and exclusive. Lions Bluff is next to Salt Lick Taita Sanctuary. Lions Bluff is 48km west of Voi on the Taveta Road within the 48,000 acre Lumo Community Wildlife Sanctuary.

Rooms: With only 12 rooms the Bluff offers an intimate, luxury safari and cultural experience, with breathtaking scenery and wildlife viewing.

Room facilities: hand-made four poster bed with crisp cotton sheets. Bathrooms with complimentary shower supplies.  

Restaurant: You are welcome to visit the safari bar in the lodge for drinks any time of the day and evening, or sit in our lounge area, enjoy the view and check out the informative array of books that we make available for your perusal.

Facilities: a small shop with essential toileteries and locally made soap, T-shirts, hats, bottle coolers and all sorts of other local handicrafts. There is a pool. 

Activities: cultural visits to local villages and schools, night gamedrive: Night is the exclusive domain of the hunters such as leopards and lions. ideally a bush walk culminates in the best bush breakfast being enhanced by being eaten under a tree, enjoying one of the many stunning views within the Sanctuary. Bush walk: Accompanied by Lumo Community Wildlife Sanctuary’s skilled rangers, walk amongst the tracks and signs, flora and fauna of this protected area. Nature trail: the rangers especially enjoy teaching children the tracks, signs, insects and bushes around the Lions Bluff itself.
