5 days Jinja safari

Day 1: Entebbe. Meet and greet at Entebbe International Airport where your Uganda
Adventure Safari starts our representative will warmly welcome you and facilitate seamless
arrival formalities. You will then be transferred to your hotel where you will be briefed
about your adventure safari. Depending on the time of arrival you are advised to have
money changed on this day and time allowing you may go for city tour with the help of our
driver/guide.

Day 2: Entebbe> Jinja. After breakfast drive to the eastern part of the country and 
through Mabira forest which extends more than 300km2, the it is primarily composed of
moist semi-deciduous forest in which more than 200 tree spp have been identified, continue
to Itanda falls, watch the real sparkling white water of the Nile as it forces its way through
the stones to the Mediterranean sea later drive to, Source of the Nile for a sunset cruise. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. 

Day 3: Full Day Rafting. After breakfast you will go for white water rafting, this is our most
popular adventure activity in Jinja and for good reason. With eight major rapids, including
two grade 5 rapids, this is easily one of the most fun stretches of river that you’ll ever raft.
Why? Because of its profile and its high volume, The Nile is a really safe river to raft on and
this means our guides can accommodate everyone’s wishes, from those wanting to go as
hard as possible, to those wanting to avoid swimming. Have a barbeque at the Nile before
returning to your lodge.

Day 4:  Quad Biking. Start time every day between 8.15am and 4.45pm. We tailor our
safaris to suit each group. Easy trails make up the start of the trip and then we have the
option of more challenging and technical sections if suitable or your focus is more on
sightseeing and cultural aspects. We follow the Nile downstream from Bujagali Falls and
then away from the river banks, through farmland, forest and small villages in rural Uganda.
We stop at various viewpoints and points of interest. For the more adventurous we have a
trail ride down the steep banks to the water's edge below the Bujagali Dam. Along the
routes that we choose to give you the best possible safari, there are great photo
opportunities.
You have the opportunity for brief stops in some of the small villages and trading centres for
a chance to meet the people living in the area. Your guide(s) carry bottled water and money
to buy cold drinks at one of the Trading Centres that you will ride through.

Optional activity : Samuka Island Tour .Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel/
residence early in the morning to begin your day cruise to Samuka. Samuka Island is located
approximately 45 minutes by speed boat from the source of the Nile. Our trip will begin with
a tour of the source of the Nile and the Speke monument and thereafter we proceed by
boat to Samuka. Enroute we enjoy amazing sights of the hotels found on the shoreline like
Hotel Triangle, we also take good views of the Jinja sailing club, and the Kirinya maximum
prison. At the Samuka Island, we shall get to enjoy the birdlife, swimming in the beautiful
pool, outdoor games like volleyball and football. We enjoy a lunch break, then return to
Jinja and transfer to your lodge/ hotel/ residence.

Day 5: Jinja > Entebbe. After breakfast, depart for Entebbe with a stopover for lunch at Kampala. Arrive in Entebbe late in the afternoon. Drop off at your hotel or at the airport for your connecting flight.
