2 days Lake Nakuru & Naivasha

This 2-day trip to Lake Nakuru, Hells Gate and Lake Naivasha is a perfect way to escape the hustle and bustle of Nairobi or as a taster for a longer safari. Not only will you see animals such as birds and hippos on morning and afternoon game drives, but you can also take a bike ride through the park and a boat ride in Lake Naivasha.

Day 1: Nairobi > Hels Gate. You will be picked up from your hotel and we then drive to Hels Gate for a 20 km bike ride, 8 km of which is within the park. It is a nice experience to see giraffes crossing right in front of you.

Then on the way to Lake Naivasha where a boat trip is made. Here a beautiful fauna of hippos and birds. For dinner and overnight we check in the lodge.

Day 2: Lake Naivasha > Lake Nakuru. After breakfast, continue to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in time for a game drive for lunch.

Lake Nakuru National Park is home to giraffes, waterbuck, black and white rhinoceroses, buffalo, lions and leopards, among others. On the shores of the lake are thousands of flamingos feeding on the algae. Lunch will be at Lake Nakuru Lodge, Sarova Lion Hill Lodge or similar. There will be an afternoon game drive around Lake Nakuru and the nearby forest before returning to Nairobi.
