5 days Mara & Nakuru

Day 1: Nairobi> Masai Mara. Pick up from your hotel for a journey to the south along the Great Rift Valley. Then we drive to Narok trading city of the Masai and have lunch here in a local restaurant. We continue the trip up the “western wall” and enter the land of Hemingway’s “Serengeti Plains”. Arrival in the afternoon and drive to the campsite / lodge enoute with a game drive in the Masai Mara game reserve. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Day 2: Masai Mara. Today we spend a whole day in this very famous park on this rich tree-strewn grassland and rolling hills. We take picknick lunches to have lunch near the Mara river. The famous mara is known for its large herds of wildlife. Black-maned lions, leopards and cheetahs, but also includes large numbers of elephants and almost every kind of animal that can be found in the wild in Kenya. All meals and overnight at the campsite.

Day 3: Masai Mara> Lake Nakuru. Enjoy your African breakfast between 06.30 am and 08.00 am. Thereafter we continue with an optional cultural tour to increase Kenya easy safaris memories. Join the Maasai warrior dancers and listen to the jungle survival tactics, interact with the women and children, and take great photographs. We leave the Masai Mara region between 10.00 am and 10.30 am via Narok town and a stopover for a hot lunch. The whole group may decide to take the optional activities at Lake Naivasha for a boat ride and nature walk before they proceed to Nakuru city. We arrive in Nakuru city in the late evening for check-in, dinner, and overnight

Day 4: Lake Nakuru> Lake Naivasha. Today we enter lake Nakuru National Park for a great game drive after breakfast. We visit the Lake for birding watching and a short guided nature walk, visit the main land in search of the endangered rhino species, Rothschild’s giraffe, lions, leopard, antelopes, gazelles, zebras, waterbucks, warthogs among other many wild animals. Exit Lake Nakuru National Park and drive to Lake Naivasha to arrive in time for hot lunch. Late afternoon and evening at leisure, your guide will assist you with optional activities that you can do.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha> Nairobi. After breakfast we start our way to Hell’s Gate National Park for registration. You will choose either to hire a bicycle or enjoy a game drive with your safari vehicle to cover the 11 Kms down the Hell’s gorge. Here you will enjoy an optional guided nature walk with the local guides up to the geothermal plant. Return to pick the bikes or catch up with your guide, ascent to the main gate then exit. Leave Naivasha region with a stopover for hot lunch and drive to Nairobi where our Kenya Easy safaris will come to an end.

High season from July 1st $ 780 p.p joining group safaris.

Includes: parkfees, meals till lunch last day, transport in safari minivan with open top roof, English speaking driver/guide, accommodation in budget tented camps or hotels.

If you want to stay in a lodge but like to join group safaris to reduce cost it is possible. Just ask us for the options.
